After defeating Ethan Page, Trick Williams is now officially a two-time NXT Champion.
In the main event of NXT’s CW Network premiere, Ethan Page was challenged by Trick Williams, where CM Punk was the special referee. Though Ethan Page tried to cheat at multiple places throughout the match, CM Punk refused to give him an unfair advantage.
However, Ethan Page has mocked CM Punk by hitting Trick Williams, with a GTS. In the closing moments, Punk got involved, when Ethan Page went for Ego’s Edge. On the other hand, Ethan hit the Trick’s knee for a win.
Punk tried to ruin Williams’ celebration by raising his arm and a dropped page with a GTS, after the match.
Trick celebrated his victory, along with the crowd, and had a great time singing his favorite song.
