Musheer Khan, who is the brother of Indian cricketer, Sarfaraz Khan, met with an accident and got injured in Uttar Pradesh. As per the reports from TOI, the Mumbai cricket player, suffered a fracture, while he was traveling with his father, Naushad Khan, who is also a coach.

Musheer Khan’s Accident took place when he was traveling for the Irani Cup tie, from Kanpur to Lucknow. This incident happened on Friday night and the extent of injury is yet to be put out.

However, it is mentioned in a statement by MCA that, Musheer Khan will miss the Irani Cup.

Mumbai is the defending champions in the Ranji Trophy, and they are slated to take the rest of India in the one-off affair, from October 1 to 5, at the Bharat Ratna Shri Atal Bihari Vajpayee Ekana Cricket Stadium. However, Musheer is likely to miss being a part of the Ranji Trophy, which begins on October 11.

Musheer Khan has shown a strong impact in last year’s Under-19 World Cup and also marked his style in the Ranji Trophy, which happened in February. In his 2 years of career, Musheer Khan has scored a double century before appearing in Ranji final against Vidarbha.

In 9 FC matches, Musheer Khan scored over 700 runs. He registered 3 hundred and a fifty.

In the recent Duleep Trophy, he scored 181 runs for India C, against India A. In India A, there are players like Shubman Gill, Kuldeep Yadav, Avesh Khan, etc.

The Mumbai Cricket Association is yet to release an official statement regarding Musheer Khan’s accident, and his replacement is also yet to be announced.
