Autopsies have revealed the cause of death of NYC prominent lawyer Chris Morvillo and his wife, Neda, who drowned together as the Yatch sank in Sicily. As per the sources, a total of 7 people have died in this incident.

Chris Morvillo Autopsy Report
As per the autopsy reports of Chris Morvillo and his wife Neda, it was confirmed that the couple died of drowning together when the luxury yacht sank off on August 19, as per ANSA. However, there are no signs of trauma identified on the bodies of Chris Morvillo and Neda.
These first results of Chris Morvillo and his wife Neda, were carried out at the Institute of Forensic Medicine of the Policlinico. Termini Imerese prosecutor’s office has assigned Professor Antonella Argo, to carry out this process. Other laboratory tests need to be conducted.
However, the autopsy reports say that apart from drowning, there are no other causes that are linked to the death of the lawyer Morvillo and his wife.
How Many Members Were There in the Sicily Superyacht?

As per the news sources, a total of 22 people were present in the Sicily Superyacht, when the shipwreck happened. Out of these 22 people, 12 were guests, and 10 were crew members. As per the maritime experts, the shipwreck happened at around 5 A.M, due to the harsh weather conditions.
Remaining Autopsies Report
The other two autopsies of Jonathan Bloomer (President of the Morgan Stanley bank), and his wife Anne Elizabeth Judith, were conducted on 4th September 2024, and the reports are yet to be shared. Due to the difficulties at the moment, the autopsies of the other 3 victims: Mike Lynch, a business tycoon, his 18-year-old daughter Hannah, and the cook, Recaldo Thomas, have not been assigned.
Mike’s wife, Angela Bacares was present on the Yacht, but she was rescued along with 14 others on board.
On Aug. 24, Girolamo Bentivoglio, head of the Palermo Fire Brigade stated that as per the reports, it was clearly evident that people were trying to hide in the cabins, as 5 bodies were found on the left-hand side of the cabins, and the final body on the right-hand side.
Currently, a judicial investigation is going on against the three Bayesian crew members for suspected negligence, which led to the shipwreck. When questioned by the prosecutors, the ship’s captain, James Cutfield, refused to speak about the wreck.
